The Story Behind the Shirt
The Rosary's closing prayer is credited to a monk who could barely move. Tradition names Blessed Hermann of Reichenau (1013–1054), a Benedictine crippled from birth and nearly helpless, who still became a scholar of music, mathematics and astronomy. Monks were singing the antiphon by the 1130s: “To you we cry, poor banished children of Eve.” It is the prayer of men who know they cannot make it home alone.
On the back: a jeweled crown topped with orb and cross above a red rose on a thorned stem, a single star shining beside it — the Mystical Rose and Morning Star of her litany — over “SALVE REGINA” and, in gold, “HAIL HOLY QUEEN.” On the chest: the original 1765 A Co. mark in our founder's own hand.
Built like a conviction: printed on the Bayside 5100 — 100% US-grown cotton, spun, knit, cut, and sewn on American soil, then printed to order in the USA. Dirt to shirt, no exceptions. Veteran-owned. Est. 1765.
