The Story Behind the Shirt

A parish priest from New Haven — and the largest Catholic men's organization on earth. Fr. Michael McGivney gathered the men of St. Mary's parish in 1882 and founded the Knights of Columbus: to keep working men in the faith, and their widows and orphans out of poverty. Beatified in 2020, he is an American priest on the road to sainthood — proof that one faithful man in one parish can move the world.

On the back: the New Haven parish church in fine engraving beneath a radiant cross, flanked by oak boughs and acorns — strength grown from small beginnings — his name in the banner above. On the chest: the original 1765 A Co. mark in our founder's own hand. More Catholic gifts for men.

Built like a conviction: printed on the Bayside 5100 — 100% US-grown cotton, spun, knit, cut, and sewn on American soil, then printed to order in the USA. Dirt to shirt, no exceptions. Veteran-owned. Est. 1765.
